24 years ago today I met the most Incredible person ever. She was Radiant. She had the Shekinah Glory of Moses. (a visible manifestation of God's presence)

She was and is the most Beautiful Person I had ever met. Jana Workman was her name.

Today Jana has eight Children and is the CEO of her home in Temecula Ca. I am so fortunate to have her as my Bride.

YOU ARE SO BEAUTIFUL TO CHRIST!

In the same way you are the Bride of Christ.

Do you know that Jesus feels the same way about you x 100,000,000,000....His Love is Infinite.

YOU ARE SO BEAUTIFUL TO CHRIST!

Do you know His love for you is unconditional till "death do you part." -- (actually in death we get to meet Him Face to Face)

What is Unconditional? I will let you answer that but it is so True.

The point is Jesus loves you so much! He had a plan for you before time began.

"Then the LORD said: 'I am making a covenant with you. Before all your people I will do wonders never before done in any nation in all the world. The people you live among will see how awesome is the work that I, the LORD, will do for you' "
(Exodus 34:10, NIV)

The first time I noticed Jana was when I saw her walk across campus at OCC. My heart stopped. I said, " I have to meet her."

Even though it was inconceivable to go out with the coaches daughter, I had to meet her. One event after another kept happening.

Finally the day came and we met!!!

Do you know that God formed you (Psalm 139) and had a plan to meet up with you because He just had to.

YOU ARE SO BEAUTIFUL TO CHRIST!

In John 4 Jesus actually changed his normal route because He wanted to meet the Woman at the Well. He gave her "Living Water."

YOU ARE SO BEAUTIFUL TO CHRIST!

Just like I sought out Jana's phone number and changed my "plans" to meet her, Jesus sought you out and found you.
Jana could have said, "No" and I would have been crushed. Lucky for me she said, "yes."

How does Jesus feel when we say, "Yes" to Him?

"Yes Jesus I want to go on a bike ride with you."

YOU ARE SO BEAUTIFUL TO CHRIST!

When Jana accepted the invite for that first bike ride I was overwhelmed with Joy.
When we accept God's invitation He is also Overwhelmed with Joy and Excitement!

Just like I would step in the line of fire and die for Jana and our eight children, Jesus stepped in the line of fire and died for you.

You see no matter what anyone in the family does I love them so much I would die for them.

That's how Jesus feels about you! He went to the Cross willingly so you wouldn't have to.

As a Husband and a Father I would do the same.

Love is the Strongest Asset we have. The Bible says, "Love Conquers All!"

YOU ARE SO BEAUTIFUL TO CHRIST!

Jesus wants to walk with you and hang out with you everyday. He wants more than anything to have Fellowship with you in all your Decisions and Choices in Life.

MARCH 17, around 461 AD, St. Patrick died.

As a teenager, the Roman Legions guarding his community in Britain had to be withdrawn to defend Rome, as invading hordes, such as the Visigoths, Ostrogoths, Vandals and Huns, were overrunning the borders.

DARE TO BE A SAINT PATRICK!

Unprotected, Britain was attacked by raiders, who carried away thousands.

Patrick was captured and sold as a slave in Ireland, which was ruled by the Druids, who practiced witchcraft, Ishtar / Molech worship and human sacrifice. 

DARE TO BE A SAINT PATRICK!

For six years Patrick herded animals for a Druid chieftain, as he wrote in his Confession:

"But after I came to Ireland---every day I had to tend sheep, and many times a day I prayed---the love of God and His fear came to me more and more, and my faith was strengthened.

Saint Patrick was like David in the Bible. David tended sheep for many years before God led him to the opportunity with Goliath.

In the same way, God wants to spend time with us. God wants to hang out with us.

This takes time away from all of our friends and parties. When we get away and tend our sheep it is easier to focus on God.

Let's Think about this. Patrick was a slave in a a place ruled by the Druids, Sorcery and Witchcraft.

Some of us are in a Place where there is a foreign god. A place where people practice Sorcery, Witchcraft, Drugs, Pot, Ishtar, Molech, Anubis ect..

It might be called something else today but it is the same and originates from Nimrod at The Tower of Babel or the spirit of Nimrod which is Satan.

For example: Obama Care and Romney Care mandates the worship of Ishtar (goddess of sex - contraceptives) and Molech (god of death - RU486 - morning after pill) in the Healthcare Law.
Patrick didn't run away or join them in their acts.

Patrick looked at it as an opportunity to lead people to Christ. First he spent 6 valuable years of time alone with God.

Saint Patrick knew these people were:

Lonely
Afraid
Guilty
Uninspired
Empty
Afraid of the future

These people were no different than us. They were seeking God however they were seeking the god of pleasure. A god that would fill their needs on their terms not on the terms of the God of the Bible.
Paul talked about this in the New Testament with the Epicurean Philosophers. He reasoned with them about the false gods that they were worshiping and said, "Jesus is the one you are looking for not the false god's you have been seeking."

This "Unknown God you have inscribed here on this rock is Jesus. He will fill the Emptiness and Loneliness in your life and give you a great plan for the future."

Sadly the Epicurean's didn't respond.

In the same way as Paul, Patrick found out what their needs were and showed them through his Actions the True Love of Jesus Christ.

Later on Saint Patrick made a Huge Impact in Ireland and throughout Europe.
Saint Patrick Baptized 120,000 people.

Saint Patrick founded 300 churches.

He wrote:
"Patrick the sinner, an unlearned man to be sure. None should ever say that it was my ignorance that accomplished any small thing, it was the gift of God."

In the next century, Irish missionaries sailed back to Europe and led many of the people that overran the Roman Empire to Christ.

Do you know that God not only thinks about you constantly throughout the day He also has Infinite Everlasting Love for you.

Infinite or Everlasting means Beyond the Vanishing Point with No End. It is as far as the East is from the West.

Jesus Reached East with one hand as it was nailed to the Cross and Reached West with the other hand as it was also nailed to the Cross.

Sometimes life can sting us and poison us for years to come.

The sting may be a relationship that went sour because of unfaithfulness.

The sting may be a friend that betrays you.

LOOK AT THE BRASS SERPENT!

The sting might be the loss of a job and you were the scapegoat.

Today in the One Year Bible we see Israel in trouble. They are getting bitten by snakes. Why did this happen?

It says earlier the people were impatient and began to accuse God.

"Why did You bring us out to the wilderness? We were better off in Egypt."

The LORD said to Moses, "Make a snake and put it up on a pole; anyone who is bitten can look at it and live." So Moses made a bronze snake and put it up on a pole. Then when anyone was bitten by a snake and looked at the bronze snake, they lived.
Numbers 21:8-9

God has a plan and purpose for our lives. God even has a purpose for the Wilderness Experiences in our lives.

The Wilderness Experience forces us to totally focus on God to get us through Seasons of our life.

LOOK AT THE BRASS SERPENT!

Sometimes it is hard to be patient during these times. Sometimes we can develop the "Why Syndrome" in our lives.

"If God loves me then Why would....?"

This is the enemy trying to get us to question God. This is the first thing Lucifer did when he spoke to Eve.

God told Moses to put a Brass Serpent on a pole. He said whoever looks at the Brass Serpent will be saved from the snakes venomous poison.

LOOK AT THE BRASS SERPENT!

Friends, we will get bitten at times in our life and if we don't do something about
the Venomous Poison we will die in our wilderness.

The Venomous Poison can be: bitterness, anger, strife, regrets, revenge ect...

When this happens we feel miserable don't we. The Venomous Poison sucks the life out of us.

LOOK AT THE BRASS SERPENT!

It doesn't have to be that way!

The Brass is judgement.

The Serpent is sin.

The Pole is the cross.

This is a picture of sin being judged on the Cross as Jesus took all of the Venomous Poison in the World.

Has life bitten you recently? Have you grown bitter with resentment? Have you questioned God and His Purpose for your life?

It's OK. All of us have these seasons in our life. When we have these tough situations happen to us we need to look at Jesus Christ on the Cross to save us from the Poison.

Have you ever been confused? Sometimes life can be that way can't it?

We live in a very confused world.

The enemy wants us to be confused so we can make unwise choices. Our Playbook says the enemy is the author of Confusion.

Proverbs 16:25 says, "There is a way that APPEARS to be right, but in the end it leads to death"

Lucifer wants to get us Sidetracked so we will stop Pursuing our Goals.

Remember, our number one goal is to Glorify God in all that we do.

The enemy uses confusion to get the world to entice us. Then Satan uses our Flesh and the Desires of the Flesh to Sidetrack us into things that don't Glorify God.

Psalm 1 tells us how to make the Right Choices.

"Blessed (Happy) is the one
who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers,

but whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on his law day and night.

That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither—
whatever they do prospers." Psalm 1:1-3

In the unstable World we live in we have a Stability that no one can match. Our Stability is in God.

THE WAY THAT SEEMS RIGHT!

Notice how Psalm 1 is a series of events that takes place. When I have messed up in my own life it always happened like it Psalm 1 says. First I stated Walking with the wrong crowd every once in a while. The Second thing I did was Stand with the wrong crowd more frequently. Then I began to Sit with the wrong crowd daily.

Obviously this was not a blessed happy time in my life.

This was a way that seemed right but it was wrong and it was leading me to destruction. I was miserable!

God has a better way which is His way.

Jesus said, " I am the Way the Truth and the Life."

Do you know that God Pursues you?

What does Pursue mean? It means to urgently go after something or someone.

GOD IS PURSUING US!

"Surely goodness and mercy shall follow (Pursue) me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever." Psalm 23:6

After Adam and Eve disobeyed God they knew they had made a big mistake.

GOD IS PURSUING US!

Adam ran away! Adam was paranoid and confused for the first time in his life.

Do you remember the first time you realized you made a mistake and sinned?
I think all of us remember one or two times.

What did you do?

God said, "Adam where are you?"

"Eve where is your husband?"

"Adam echo echo echo...... Where are you?"

"How come you won't answer your cell phone?"

GOD IS PURSUING US!

Adam was very worried and paranoid when God found him. Adam tried to cover it up. He also made up the first excuse:

"My phone died!"

"She made me do it!"

I bet the Lord wept. Why? Because Adam and Eve chose to believe a lie not the Truth.

Adam and Eve didn't want to believe their Creator?

Do we do this also? Do we get Worldly advice instead of Believing and Trusting in God?

Decisions and Choices are tough to make sometimes. Maybe it's a "white lie." Maybe it is only a "little bit" of a sin. If I choose to cut corners I can "help God!"

Maybe you go off to college and the Professors who seem so smart start to throw out questions about your Faith.

It is the same now as it was in the Garden. Satan even tried to deceive Jesus in the Wilderness saying, "There is an easier way."

Remember when Jesus Wept? First with Lazareth and then with Jerusalem on Palm Sunday.

Why? Because the people didn't believe.

GOD IS PURSUING US!

God knew where Adam was Physically but where was Adam Spiritually?

That's right. Adam died Spiritually just as God had said he would if he disobeyed.

GOD IS PURSUING US!

For the first time in their lives God and Man were Separated by Sin. This made God Sad!

Everyday God and Adam would take a walk in the cool of the morning.

I wonder what it was like that morning Adam didn't show up. God was waiting for him. Then the next morning..... And so on....

"I lost my Best Friend!"

The Lord said I'm going to do whatever it takes to get the human race back. That means you and me.

God created all of us with Eternity in our minds. We were meant to live forever. Now there is a big divide between us and God.

GOD IS PURSUING US!

Before this Adam had a Purpose and a Plan for his life. Now Adam was Paranoid and Confused.

Adam wanted to hide and give up.

ADAM TRIED TO ESCAPE!

Friends have you ever been in this situation? Everything was going great and all of the sudden the enemy gets you off track?

Just like God Pursued Adam and Eve God is Pursuing you.

Just like Adam and Eve were God's most important creation so are You!

GOD IS PURSUING US!

God Is Pursuing you because He has a Purpose and a Plan for you! Jer 29:11

The Bible tells us that God has been Pursuing us since before the Foundation of the Earth was formed. In other words from Eternity. Eph 1

You see God had it in His Original Game Plan to Pursue us.

God knew we were going to be pursued and overtaken by the enemy.

GOD IS PURSUING US!

So Jesus Pursued us all the way to The Cross. He did this to connect us back to our Creator.

Jesus Pursues us so we can get our Game back. He pursues us so we will get back in the game with Confidence and Purpose!

We are so lucky to have a God that Pursues us aren't we?

Now Jesus is in the Father's House. Preparing a Mansion for us.

GOD IS PURSUING US!

Are we Prepared to Meet Him?

WILL WE PURSUE HIM?
