Today in the One Year Playbook we see a person that was, blameless, upright, feared God and shunned evil. His named is Job.

Have you ever suffered great loss?

GREAT LEADERS ENDURE THROUGH SUFFERING

"In all this, Job did not sin by charging God with wrongdoing." Job 1:22

Here we see behind the scenes in the spiritual dimension. The enemy has access to God. He is going back and forth trying to destroy Job and his family.

Satan is slandering Job and God. Satan is saying the only reason Job worships God is because God blesses him. Satan is saying God has put a Hedge of Protection around Job.

Remember: God has a Hedge of Protection around us as well.

God allows Job to go through some tough times yet Job remained Faithful to God.

Friends, life is filled with challenges. Yes there is suffering and pain. A lot of times we don't know why.

There is a lot we don't know and sometimes it gets frustrating. Here are some things we do know.

These verses comforted Job while he was suffering.

Job said, "For I know that my Redeemer lives, and at the last he will stand upon the earth." Job 19:25

THIS GAVE JOB HOPE AND THE POWER TO ENDURE

"Even now my witness is in heaven; my advocate is on high." Job 16:19

Jesus is our Witness and Advocate fighting for us.

"We know that what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later." Romans 8:18
