What does this mean?
What does the world and religion say?
What does my Redeemer say?
Farmers who wait for perfect weather never plant. If they watch every cloud, they never harvest. Ecc 11:4
Carpe Diem! I must seize the day. I must go now! If I wait for perfect conditions nothing will ever get done.
I must remember that Thomas Edison failed over 1500 times on his way to the light bulb. Abraham Lincoln looked in the mirror and said, "I hate myself! I'm so ugly! I have so much acne! Now scars! Abraham Lincoln failed 10 times for his bid for Congress, Senate and Vice President on his way to the Presidency of the USA.
My Redeemer told me that Abraham Lincoln was chosen to lead this Nation and save the Union!
He told me that His eyes run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward Him.
He said Abraham Lincoln was one of the People He found in the 1800's to turn the Country around and is now looking for people today to do the same! Then He said, "Carpe Diem Man!"
Paul Orfalea found the Power of Carpe Diem in his learning disorder! Orfalea barley graduated from college because of his dyslexia. He turned that disorder into an opportunity to create Kinko's Copiers. He sold Kinko's for over $1 Billion to Fed Ex.
My Redeemer told me these stories to inspire me to Find The Power of Carpe Diem in my own life. To Just Go! To Stop analyzing everything! To just let go and let my Redeemer show Himself strong in my life!
My Redeemer then shared a story from His Ancient Scrolls.
These are people that talk a good game but never embrace the Power of Carpe Diem!
"Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go." And Jesus said to him, "Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head." My Redeemer told him how it is and we never hear from that person again.
Another of the disciples said to him, "Lord, let me first go and bury my father." And Jesus said to him, "Follow me, and leave the dead to bury their own dead." He wasn't being mean but He knew this was just talk..... an excuse to procrastinate!
My Redeemer said their are a lot of posers playing the part but there are only a Few that grab on and Embrace the Power of Carpe Diem!
My Redeemer said the Slavedriver loves procrastinators. He said Slavedriver has a Priest named Father Time. Father Time deceives people by giving with all the Time they want!
Father Time used to convince me of the following:
"Just wait for the right situation! You can always take care of it tomorrow!"
"Just do it tomorrow.... you don't have time right now!"
"Just take more Time! You need to think about it over the weekend!"
Then my Redeemer showed me the following steps to Freedom using The Power of Carpe Diem.
- Accept the Situation!
- Take Responsibility Now!
- Taking Action Now!
- Move Forward Now!
My Redeemer told me to Tell Father Time I didn't have any time for him!
My Redeemer told me Thomas Edison, Abe Lincoln and Paul Orfalea mastered the The Power of Carpe Diem by saying, "Just Go!"
"Procrastination is one of the most common and deadliest of diseases and its toll on success and happiness is heavy." Wayne Gretzky NHL
This Attitude of finding the Power of Carpe Diem is another key to my Freedom!
Just Go!
Rick
