DANIEL 180 - IS GOD DISAPPOINTED?

What does my Redeemer say?

"If you kept a record of my character flaws I could not escape being condemned? But you forgive me, so that I should stand in awe of You."

I suddenly realize that my concept of God has been way off. I thought God was Disappointed with me.

I thought God was like a game but I was always the loser. I thought the Game of God was a game of give and take. Then I realized I was just "playing games" with God as I was constantly trying to measure up!

Since I couldn't measure up I thought I could pay my debt by confessing to a priest or by going to church. By doing this I could start over every week after hanging out with the Slave Driver all week escaping from my shortcomings and character defects.

The Slave Driver convinced me that this was a good plan. "After all," he said, "that's what everyone else is doing.
Look how successful they are! God isn't punishing them nor is He disappointed. God just wants His part of the deal! You know...the 10%."

Wow! In this game I could fake it and drown out my depression of God's disapproval by showing up and dropping 10% in the basket. That was fine but the requirement I still needed to measure up to was another issue all together. When I would go to church or be around the "Christian Leaders" I was very uncomfortable knowing I did not measure up.

After awhile as I got older my trepidation turned to sarcasm as I tried to cover the hurt of knowing I didn't measure up.
This sarcasm became bitterness and that hardened my soul. I was trying to find an escape from my Character Flaws and Shortcomings in any way I could.

Then I heard a song that came out of the Ancient Bedouin Scrolls. It was by an outcast like me that found peace. His name was Mr. Bennett. He wrote a song called, "I know that my Redeemer Lives! What comfort this sweet sentence gives..." about the life of Job and his Redeemer.

The original song writer was the Redeemer Himself and Mr. Bennett was singing about Him from Job's perspective. The words were from the Oldest Book in the Ancient Bedouin Scrolls that were found in Qumran in 1948.

As the Redeemer spoke through Job my heart began to listen. Who is this Redeemer? Who did He come to Redeem? Why was it written so long ago? What secret did Job find from this Redeemer?

Didn't Job lose everything in this "game?" How could he be so humble without bitterness? Then I realized his concept of God was God The Redeemer. In other words my Redeemer was to come to me and bridge the gap of where I am and where I'm "supposed to be."

Then I heard about thousands of other people that also had a warped concept of God brought to them by the Slave Driver. These people were Free and full of Grace and Agape Love because they met the same Redeemer written about in the Ancient Scrolls of long ago.

This was the same Redeemer that took my place in saying, "greater love has no one then I your Redeemer and I lay down My life for you!"

I must grasp this concept! My Redeemer doesn't sound disappointed He sounds Appointed! Appointed for a cause that was initiated before time began.

These same people I was with when I heard Mr. Bennett's song were just recently fleeing to psychedelic drugs in Berkley.

Now they were Free. They finally found the answer to all of their shortcomings and fear of disappointing everyone including God.

I must realize that the Answer has always been the same.

From the Ancient Scrolls till now the Answer is:

My Redeemer is not disappointed with me and He never has been. He knew of my Shortcomings and that is why He came to Redeem me.

Now I know this Peace that passes human understanding!

Knowing my Redeemer Lives and isn't Disappointed with me is another key to my Freedom!

180 NO FEAR

What does this mean?

What does my Redeemer say?

"Do not be afraid; you will not be put to shame. Do not fear disgrace; you will not be humiliated. You will forget the shame of your youth and remember no more the reproach of your widowhood.
For your Maker is your husband the Lord Almighty is his name the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; He is called the God of all the

Now that I am all in with 120% focused Trust in my Redeemer I have No Fear of my past and No Fear of my Future.

I know Trust is earned over time however when I realize my Redeemer is the Potter and I am the clay I know each day I am being molded and shaped into His image.

I also know that my Redeemer went many steps further on the Via Delarosa to earn my Trust as He Endured the Cross.

He was sold for a measly 30 pieces of silver by a "trusted friend!" However, my Redeemer knew this would happen and even allowed it to happen so I would be saved from the Hell and Torture I was living in from the Slave Driver of my Character nature.

As my Redeemer was all in 120% with No Fear so must I be 120% committed if I am to have No Fear!

Even though He was wrongly accused He took the High Road and said, "Father forgive them! They don't know what they are doing!" I must follow His example and do the same when I am wrongly accused.

Now I realize the measly 30 pieces of silver was actually used to purchase me when it was thrown into the Potters Field with all the rejected broken pieces of pottery. This is the field where broken broken pottery is buried because it has no value to the world.

Suddenly I realize that I was that valueless broken piece of pottery thrown away and buried never to be seen or heard from again. My Redeemer actually purchased me out of this field the same way parents would go to a Foreign Country like Korea and adopt a baby in an orphanage. This baby now has Value and a new future hope within him in a Free Land!

Now I understand that my life was also broken to pieces with no value. Now I realize my Redeemer is going to take something worthless like me and turn me into a valuable piece of art. To do this He has to start over by melting me down and remolding me into a new image.

Now I get it! Now I live it! I was lost but now I am found because it is my Redeemer's perfect love that casts out All Fear!

This Attitude of No Fear is another key to my Freedom!

Q180 TRUST

What does this mean to me?
What does the World say?
What does The Lord say?

"And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus."
Philippians 4:19

I must learn the Power of Trust. It is in this Trust that I am able to give 120% with Total Release. By this I know the handcuffs and chains are taken off for the first time.

When I fully Trust I have no doubt. As an infant puts every ounce of trust in his/her mother I will do the same with my Redeemer in my new Spiritual Birth.

I know I will still be tempted every day by the tempter in areas of my emotions that can tip me over such as: anxiety and depression which leads to seeking out temporary substance relief.

Knowing the enemy is Stronger than I am I will continually read the Word of my Redeemer knowing His Words are more powerful than a two edged sword or weapon against the tempter.

By knowing the Words of my Redeemer I am able to be Prepared for this event when it happens....and it will!

When my Redeemer was tempted by the tempter He was at His weakest point after 40 days of fasting. I will follow His example of preparedness by getting in front of the anxiety and depression by knowing His Word.

This knowledge will be played out in the Wisdom that was born in me when I Identified with my Redeemer. Thus, Wisdom is acquired applied-knowledge.

I will Trust in my Redeemer with all my heart and not rely on my own understanding of situations. In all my ways I will acknowledge Him knowing He will direct and straighten my path.

Finally, I must transfer this Trust in my Redeemer to my family. I do this by example with few words. I do this with unconditional love and tolerance knowing my Redeemer has done this for me
ad infinitum.

This Attitude of Trust is another key to my Freedom!

What does this mean to me?

What does The Lord say?

"Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends."
John 15:13

Now I realize the Son denied himself by laying His life down for me so I would not face eternal separation from the Father.

He did this because He loved me so much that He wasn't going to let my DNA character flaws passed down from generation to generation originating in the Garden ruin me.

I must now pass on this Good News to others. Since God gave His Life for mine and saved me from myself how could I hold back this Awesome Gift?

I have to let everyone know the Secret to my Freedom from bondage and self destruction.

To continually overcome the same Slave Driver I must also be willing to give myself as a daily sacrifice to others through His Beatitudes knowing that He said, "when you have blessed the poor and hungry with you with your sacrificial love you have blessed Me!"

When I give myself to others as the Son did for me then and only then will I stay focused on the road to recovery.

This road to recovery is my willingness to walk the same road as the Son when He was on the way to His earthly destination to say "It is Finished! Father, into thy hands I commend My Spirit."

This road is called, The Via Dolorosa or "the way of sufferings." As the Son walked on this road carrying His cross of Self Denial for me I must also do the same for others if I want Freedom!

I also know I would not do this for myself if I had the the choice because I am powerless when I do things for myself. The Secret of my newfound Power is in doing for others first while getting nothing in return.

Now I realize according to the Ancient Scrolls my Higher Power is now my Father, Son and Spirit or three distinct centers of conscienceness in One.

To have access to The Father as a distinct person I must go through The Son as a distinct person. Then and only then will I be able to receive the gift of His Spirit who is not a force but also a distinct person.

Now I understand who the voice in my heart is leading me to the Son my Savior so I can have access to His Father who releases the Spirit to work in me and through me.

I must realize this is not a religion but a relationship manifested within a compound unity as: 1x1x1=1

It is this gift of the Father and the Son's Spirit who gives me dunamis or Power over my enemy.

I must keep remembering the Son telling His friends that He was going to be with His Father preparing a place for but He would leave HIs Spirit to be my Helper to overcome the Slave Driver with Dunamis

"...He guides me along the right paths for His Name's sake." Psalm 23:3

Jesus said, "Whoever wants to be with me and follow Me must Deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me." Matthew 16:24

My next step is to take up my cross and follow or Identify with the Son.

This is another building block in my Quest for Freedom.
I must realize that my cross Identifies with His Cross. As He came in the likeness of man to Identify with me, I must pick up my cross to Identify with Him.

I must also realize there is a cost when Identifying with the Son. This cost is Identifying with His suffering and pain.

My suffering and pain is the very least I can do knowing what He did for me.

When I pick up my cross and Identify with Him it points others in the same direction.

The Son came to Identify with me He was not a victim as He freely gave His life!

I was put here to Identify with Him and I am not a victim either. I freely give my life to Him because He freely gave His life to me.

When I deny myself and pick up my cross I get to Identify with His suffering. It is in this Identification that I become more committed to His Ways and not my own.

I also realize it is in Identifying with Him that Wisdom is Born in my life.

Action Jackson, I personalized the Word here as I am "realizing" there are certain keys to walking with God and overcoming the enemy. I made it somewhat Generic to relate to more of the un churched people. As I get more and more into it the only True God that can change lives is Jesus. Here is how I refer to God:

Holy Spirit - Spirit

In 2010 researchers from the National Center for Atmospheric Research and the University of Colorado used computer models to reconstruct the area in question.

They studied maps of the area, archaeologically records and satellite measurements to pin point a location where such an event were possible.

They found an area in the south Mediterranean where some believe the Nile River drained into an ancient lake called Tanis.

The computer model showed a 63 mile per hour wind blowing across the region for a period of 12 hours would push back the water and create an effect very similar to the one recorded in Exodus.

The area created by the model was three miles wide and up to two and a half miles long. Once the wind died down the waters quickly returned to their original levels.

Carl Drews headed the research and is quoted as saying; " People have always been fascinated by this Exodus story, wondering if it comes from historical facts,"
Drews says.

"What this study shows is that the description of the waters parting indeed has a basis in physical laws."

Drews went on to say, "The Simulations match fairly closely with the account in Exodus. The parting of the waters can be understood through fluid dynamics. The wind moves the water in a way that's in accordance with physical laws, creating a safe passage with water on two sides and then abruptly allowing the water to rush back in."

NOW I REALIZE  it is not I that does these things but it is the DNA CHARACTER DEFECTS in my flesh that was inherited and genetically transferred down from generation to generation! Apostle Paul 

NOW I REALIZE it is God who works in me to will and to act according to His good purpose. Philippians 2:13  

Step Three:

NOW I REALIZE  I must make Daily DECISIONS to turn my will and my life over to the care of God.

NOW I REALIZE that God DEMONSTRATED His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

NOW I REALIZE if you CONFESS with your mouth the Lord Jesus and BELIEVE in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be SAVED! For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Romans 10:9,10

NOW I REALIZE ... in view of God's mercy, we need to offer our bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God - which is your spiritual act of worship. Romans 12:1 

Step Four

NOW I REALIZE  we CONTINUALLY make a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves.

NOW I REALIZE  we need to EXAMINE our ways and TEST them, and let us return to the Lord. Lamentations 3:40 

Step Five

NOW I REALIZE that we need ADMIT to God, to OURSELVES, and ANOTHER human being the exact nature of our wrongs known as DNA CHARACTER DEFECTS!

NOW I REALIZE we must have Mentors to Discuss our DNA CHARACTER DEFECTS to each other and pray for each other so that you may be HEALED!

James 5:16 

NOW I REALIZE that when we CONFESS with our mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in our heart that God has RAISED Him from the dead, we will be saved. For with the HEART one believes unto righteousness, and with the MOUTH confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:9,10)

Step Six

NOW I REALIZE  that I have a fervent desire to have God REMOVE ALL of these DNA CHARACTER DEFECTS.

 

NOW I REALIZE how important it is to be HUMBLE  before the Lord, and He will LIFT us up. James 4:10 

NOW I REALIZE whoever CALLS on the name of the Lord shall be SAVED! Romans 10:13

ETERNITY STARTS NOW!

Step Seven

NOW I REALIZE that I must HUMBLY ask God to REMOVE my SHORTCOMINGS / DNA CHARACTER DEFECTS

NOW I REALIZE If we CONFESS our sins known as DNA CHARACTER DEFECTS  He is faithful and just and will forgive us and PURIFY us from all UNRIGHTEOUSNESS! 1 John 1:9

Step Eight

NOW I REALIZE that we must make a list of all persons we had HARMED and become WILLING to make AMENDS to them all.

NOW I REALIZE how important it is to, "to do to others as you would have them do to you." Luke 6:31

Step Nine

NOW I REALIZE that we need to make direct AMENDS to such people whenever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others.

NOW I REALIZE that if I am offering my gift at the altar and there remember that my brother has something against me, leave my gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to your brother; then come and offer your gift. Matthew 5:23-24

Step Ten

NOW I REALIZE the we need to continue to take personal inventory, and when we are wrong, promptly admitted it.

NOW I REALIZE not to be complacent and think that I am standing firm; I need to be careful that I don't fall. I Corinthians 10:12 

Step Eleven

NOW I REALIZE how important it is to seek through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God, as we understood Him, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out.

NOW I REALIZE  we seek through PRAYER and MEDITATION, to improve our conscious contact with God, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out.

NOW I REALIZE  it is important to let the WORD of Christ dwell in my life richly.

Step Twelve

NOW I REALIZE  by experiencing God's GRACE, MERCY and EMPOWERMENT found in these steps, I will carry this message of hope to others, and continue to practice these principles in all affairs.

NOW I REALIZE if someone is caught in his/her DNA CHARACTER DEFECT that we who are spiritual restore him/her gently.  But I need to watch myself, or I also may be tempted because of my own DNA CHARACTER DEFECTS! Galatians 6:1

NOW I REALIZE the PENALTY for our DNA CHARACTER DEFECTS was PAID IN FULL by Jesus Christ!

NOW I REALIZE with Gratitude every Day how fortunate I am. 

NOW I REALIZE God has a wonderful plan for my life!

Now I have zero control over my situation! I'm controlled by the actions of others which leads to Anxiety, Compulsion and Relief by way of Escape.

Do you want to stay Cool and in Control? (Believe it or not some people are comfortable in doubt, negativity and depression).

What does Jesus say?

In the Greek and Hebrew SEPARATE implies the breaking of a bond that is glued so tight that when the two objects are SEPARATED parts of each object remains imbedded on the other.

Friends, The Lord wants us to work out our differences especially when it is our own family.

As 360 a Leader I need to be willing to own the blame, step back and realize when we as a family are losing the battle.

Remember, this battle is nothing compared to the Fallout we will encounter if all of us SEPARATE!
