Sometimes hardships and disappointments get us off track but even those times are Divine Appointments.

When I was in college I was a waiter at the Cannery Restaurant in Newport Beach Ca. One Sunday I waited on Mary Kay Ash of the famous Mary Kay Cosmetics.

Mary Kay is one of the Greatest American Success Stories ever. She had a number of setbacks in her personal life on the way to her success.

Mary Kay was overlooked many times for promotions. They said she lacked the Leadership required to run an organization.

Frustrated by this Mary Kay decided to start her own company, Mary Kay Cosmetics.

In 2000, she was named the most outstanding woman in business in the 20th century by Lifetime Television.

On this Sunday Mary Kay had just finished being interviewed by well known televangelist, pastor, speaker, motivator and author, Robert Schuller.

I asked Mary Kay many questions while I served her table of eight. Some things were:

"How do I get a Pink Cadillac?" LOL (She was famous for rewarding her Top Sales Professionals a Pink Cadillac)

"What is the Most Important Key to Your Success?"

The first thing she said was, "having a relationship with God and loving Him with everything I have."

Then she said the following:

"Pretend that every single person you meet has a sign around his or her neck that says, "Make me feel important." Not only will you succeed in sales, you will succeed in life."

Friends, God places people in your path everyday that can potentially alter your destination into incredible opportunities.

That meeting with Mary Kay was monumental in my life as she was another stop on the way to God's Incredible Adventure of Life!

That Sunday I began to see God and people differently. I witnessed a very humble Mary Kay do what Jesus said to do in Matthew 22:34-40.

Little did I know that one Sunday Brunch would change my view on life. Mary kept it simple just like Jesus did.

Take Mary Kay's advice and nothing can stop you!

What did Jesus hear? He heard the broken hearts of a family who lost their little girl.

Do you know that Jesus hears your concerns as well? Jesus hears your broken heart. Jesus hears everything about you.

Do you know why?

Because the Bible says He created you.

Because He Created you and has a Purpose for you, He also has a direct line to your emotions and your needs.

For us to Believe we must have Trust.

GREAT LEADERS FOCUS ON THEIR STRENGTHS!

Have you ever had a situation where you didn't have all the tools to get the job done? Maybe it is a football game or a long season.

Last season the Denver Broncos needed a Quarterback. They had Tim Tebow but didn't know if he was ready to step into the starting role.

The Broncos were losing one game after another. Coach Fox realized they needed a Leader on offense and not necessarily an established quarterback. Coach Fox knew that Tim Tebow was a Leader on and off the field.

GREAT LEADERS FOCUS ON THEIR STRENGTHS!

Coach Fox knew if Tim could manage the game and not turn the ball over they could control the clock. He also believed in his great defensive players to stop the opponent from scoring.

Coach Fox changed the offense from a Pro Set to a Spread Formation so Tim could run the same plays that he ran in college.

THEY ADJUSTED TO HIS STRENGTHS!

GREAT LEADERS FOCUS ON THEIR STRENGTHS!

The decision was brilliant! The Broncos knew they didn't have the right tools to get the job done so they made Adjustments to compensate for their weaknesses.

The same is true for us. Sometimes we don't have all the tools everyone else has so we have to Adjust to our Strengths.

What are your Strengths? Your Strength is that Special Gift God that gave you: the gift of encouragement, leadership, courage, character, attitude ect..

In Joshua 15 we see Caleb's daughter was very concerned about her family.

She was very grateful for what her father Caleb gave her but she still needed enough water to fill the needs of her farm and family.

Caleb had given her the city of Negev. Negev is known to be one of the driest places on earth.

So what did she do? Did she quit? Did she get a defeatist attitude? Did she complain?

No! She stayed focused and adjusted her game plan until the right time came.

THEY ADJUST TO THEIR STRENGTH!

She replied, "Do me a special favor. Since you have given me land in the Negev, give me also springs of water." So Caleb gave her the upper and lower springs. Joshua 15:18-19

She Accepted the Challenge.

She Adjusted to her Gift or Strength.

She Waited for the Right Time.

Then God gave her what she needed to Win The Game!

Friends, sometimes in life we are so concerned about we don't have that we miss the Gifts and Strengths that we do have.

Coach Fox used the resources he had to develop a game winning strategy! Caleb's daughter accepted the gift from her dad and built around it.

Forget about what we don't have and ADJUST the game plan to what we do have.

Where do people Hang Out in your community? Some Hang Outs are: the mall, beach, kitchen, basketball courts, church, bars ect..

Who do we Hang Out with? Are they going in the same direction as us? Do they Encourage us and Help us Plan for Success? Do we Encourage them?

It sounds a little selfish but unless we are Determined and Focused we will get Sidetracked and Derailed by the Influence of the Enemy.

This is not selfish this is smart!

In Bible times people would Hang Out at the local Well. It was a place where everyone had to go to get their water supplies.

The Well was the Source of Life for Communities to Survive and Prosper.

The Well was also a place where there were Community Organizers conjuring up plans to Overtake and Overthrow.

REAL PEOPLE, REAL LIFE, REAL DECISIONS!

In Genesis 33, Jacob purchased Land from Shechem's dad in Shechem. It was in this place Jacob built a Well.

The daughter of Jacob was Dinah.

Dinah probably heard love stories about the Well and how the Well was a place where life changing opportunities came about.

REAL PEOPLE, REAL LIFE, REAL DECISIONS!

Dinah's grandfather met Rebecca at a well. Her dad met Rachael at a well. And now Dinah meets a young "Prince Charming" from Shechem at a well.

Dinah was going to a Party one night in Shechem. She was there to hang out with the girls of Shechem. She probably made some friends when going to the Well each day.

The people from Shechem were Canaanites and had a different set of values then Jacob's family.

They worshiped Ishtar (sex goddess) and Molech (god of death) and did not believe in RESPECT for WOMEN.

In fact this was one of the first "Wars on Women."

REAL PEOPLE, REAL LIFE, REAL DECISIONS!

The Prince of Shechum noticed Dinah at the party and began to "pick up" on her. He probably told her how beautiful and attractive she was.

Unfortunately "Prince Charming" had a plan and Dinah did not.

IT IS SO IMPORTANT TO HAVE A PLAN!

(If this happens then this. If my friends take off then I'm going to do this. If my friends are drunk then I'm not getting in the car. ect..)

By the way, what happened to Dinah's friends? Where did they go?

Prince Charming seduced Dinah and raped her. Afterward he said he loved her and wanted to marry her.

(Lucifer always has a twisted way of justifying inhumane action).

REAL PEOPLE, REAL LIFE, REAL DECISIONS!

The fall out from this was very significant. Dinah's brothers ended up murdering a lot of people including Prince Charming and his dad.

All of the other nations heard about it and Jacob feared retaliation was coming.

It all began at the Well then slowly one compromise after another turns into a disaster.

Here is a young woman seeking Happiness and it turns into shame, murder, regret and ultimately isolation.

A lot of things in life don't seem fair. She was just searching for happiness but she became a Victim of the Enemy.

THE STORY ISN'T OVER!

A few years later there was another Woman at this same well in John 4.

Some Bible Scholars believe she was a relative of Dinah and possibly her offspring from the rape many years earlier.

God has a way of turning Tragedy into Victory!

Jesus knew this woman was searching for that special man in her life. She was married several times and kick out to the street.

She was now living with a guy.

She finally gave up on the Hope of the Well and just survived day to day.

Little did she know that when she came to the Well on this day the Creator of the Universe was going to be there.

THE STORY ISN'T OVER!

Jesus told His disciples he had some unfinished business to take care of.

Jesus was Determined to turn this Samaritan Woman's Life around and turn the Tragedy of years earlier into one of the Biggest Turnaround Stories ever.

(Jesus feels the same about us you know? He changes His schedule to meet your needs if you let Him).

Jesus came to the Well to undo the wrong and the fallout of the Shechem situation.

It was hard for her to let her guard down when she has been burnt so many times.

For 2000 years the story was the same. Women would come to the Well to Find True Happiness but unfortunately many woman left Disappointed, Confused and Abused.

Ishtar and Molech known as Lucifer declared:

THE WAR ON WOMEN!

In Dinah's situation her story turns into shame, murder, regret and ultimately isolation.

THE STORY ISN'T OVER!

Dinah had all the dreams of a Romantic Novel and the Samaritan Woman had all the Regrets of her past decisions.

Dinah's dreams were snatched away by a spoiled Prince Charming or Lucifer the Enemy.

The Samaritan Woman's Dreams were made a Reality by the Prince of Peace Jesus Christ.

Diana was never heard of again until Now!

The Samaritan Woman led a Huge Revival 20 years later and was one of the early Leaders in the Foundation of the Early Church.

Why did Diana's situation turn out so bad and the Prostitute's situation so good?

The Samaritan Woman was at The Well reaching out for something more then man made things were abel to provide.

She was seeking to fill the Empty Well in her own life.

Jesus provided the break she needed. Jesus knew the moment had come for her to make a decision. (This is also our moment of Decision)

Jesus wanted to be there for her Decision.

His disciples didn't understand why they were taking the long way to town.

Jesus planned this meeting in before time began. He knew He would have to connect the two events to Provide a National Revival and WIn The War On Women!

He came to earth as a Human to Rescue all the Women that come to the Well and get promised False Hope by the enemy.

Jesus said, "if you knew who I am you would have asked me for a drink and I would have given you Living Water."

Friends, Jesus is our Well who gives us Living Water so we will never thirst again.
Satan declared, "A War on Women" with the Shechem Well.

Jesus declared, "Victory for Women" at the same Well 1000's of years later.

The "War on Women" is filled with false promises and government mandates promised by the False Prince of Peace.

The End is Destruction and Desperation.
The "Victory for Women" is filled with Joy knowing the True Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ, is our Well of Living Water!

The "Victory for Women" is when their children "rise up and call Her Blessed."

The Victory for Dinah came later and was when God turned a Tragedy into a Great National Revival with Dinah's great, great, great ect.. grand daughter.

God turned a Tragedy and The War on Women into a Victory For all Women at the Well of Living Water.

Now as soon as they had come out of the synagogue, they entered the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.
But Simon's wife's mother lay sick with a fever, and they told Jesus about her at once. So He came and took her by the hand and lifted her up, and immediately the fever left her. And she served them.
Mark 1:29-31

Your home is your most personal space. No other place could be more private. So it's interesting that Jesus didn't confine His ministry to public squares -- He came to peoples' homes.

Here in Mark 1:29, we see Him coming into Simon Peter's home, where Peter's mother-in-law was sick with a fever. The woman had probably never met Jesus, and maybe wasn't even aware that He could heal her. But Peter was. He and the disciples didn't hesitate to tell Jesus about her need, and Jesus acted swiftly. Tenderly taking her hand, He lifted her up, and "immediately" healed her (verse 31). Jesus touched her life that day, and she never even stepped outside the house. He had worked powerfully and quickly on her behalf, simply because Peter had asked Him to.

You know, we can sometimes forget the urgency of Jesus' love. Jesus didn't wait for people to come to Him -- He went to them. He visited sinners in their most personal spaces, far from the "spotlight" and safety of the public arena. He went not only where He was loved, but where He was needed.

While He visited Peter's house, Peter presented a need, and Jesus responded "immediately."

Even at this early point in the book of Mark, it is already the sixth time that word, "immediately," has been used. And I don't think it's an accident. Jesus acted immediately, with urgency, because He loved people.

We all have friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers who need the healing touch of Jesus Christ. Let me encourage you today to lift up the people around you to Jesus.

Like Peter lifted the needs of his mother-in-law to Jesus, lift up your family and friends to Him, that He might heal them, and that they might encounter His love for them. Jesus answers prayer. He tells us in John 14:14, "If you ask anything in My name, I will do it."

Maybe today, though, you are like Peter's mother-in-law -- you are the one in need of healing, whether physically, emotionally, or spiritually.

You may have known Jesus for years, or perhaps you've never known Him. Whatever the case, let me encourage you that you don't even have to leave your house -- He will come to you.

Wherever you are, simply ask Him to touch your life, and He will respond immediately, according to His perfect will. He loves you more than you will ever understand, and is thrilled to hear your voice.

He urgently wants to give you "a future and a hope" (Jeremiah 29:11), because He loves you.

Jesus wants to touch your life, and the lives of those you love, this very moment. Not tomorrow, but today. Let us never forget or dismiss the urgency of Jesus' love!

April 6th / 10 Nisan 32AD was a Big Day in Jerusalem. Everyone was celebrating the Grand Entry of the Anointed One.

"as he came closer to Jerusalem he saw the city ahead, he began to weep, 'How I wish today that you of all people would understand the way to peace. But now it is too late, and peace is hidden from your eyes.' "
Luke 19:41-42

JUST A COINCIDENCE?

Jesus Christ was presented as the Promised Anointed One from God.

This day was Predicted by Gabriel in Daniel 9. He said, "there is 490 years determined for the Nation of Israel."

Gabriel goes on to tell Daniel, "from the going forth of the command to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince is Presented as King will be 483 years."

The Calendar used at the time was the Babylonian 360 day (not 365 day) calendar. Sir Robert Anderson in the book, "The Coming Prince" explains the calculations.

From his book he shows archeology evidence that the command went forth to rebuild and restore Jerusalem on March 14th 445 B.C. Nehemiah 2

Amazingly the exact day Jesus rode into Jerusalem and was Presented to the World as King was on April 6 / 10 Nisan 32 A.D. exactly 483 years, 9 months and 21 days from March 14 445 B.C.

JUST A COINCIDENCE?

Zechariah also predicted this day 100's of years before it happened when he said, "Behold your King comes riding on a donkey." Zech 9:6

This is known as Palm Sunday!

If we keep reading in Daniel He also says the command to rebuild Jerusalem would be during troublesome times.

Nehemiah 1-2 tells how troublesome the times were as Nehemiah's family and friends were in Jerusalem starving to death.

Gabriel also tells Daniel the Anointed King would be Cut off or Executed immediately after He was presented as King.

Jesus Christ was Cut off four days later on April 10th/14 Nisan 32 A.D.

In the Passover , the lambs were selected on Nisan 10. Palm Sunday was Nisan 10. Exodus 12;2,3,6.

Jesus was presented as King on Nisan 10 and also the Lamb that would take away the sins of the World.

On Nisan 14 32 A.D. Millions of lambs were sacrificed on Passover. and Jesus Christ were killed on the same afternoon,
On Nisan 14 32 A.D. Jesus was whipped and beaten and nailed to a Roman Cross.
This was the 14th of Nisan or Passover. (Fulfilling the prophesy of Jesus being our Passover Lamb with no spot or blemish and no broken bones).

He willing gave up His Spirit before the Roman guards came to break His legs.

If there is another book that can Predict the Future like the Dead Sea Scrolls did bring it on! There is no other Book.

So why do people put their trust in these other books that are man made?

God Orchestrated all of these Events just for you. If you were the only one on earth He could have saved He would have done it for you.

What if an Ancient Book written 5000 years ago predicted 100s of events in the future and they all came true?

April 6th / 10 Nisan 32AD was a Big Day in Jerusalem. Everyone was celebrating the Grand Entry of the Anointed One.

"as he came closer to Jerusalem he saw the city ahead, he began to weep, 'How I wish today that you of all people would understand the way to peace. But now it is too late, and peace is hidden from your eyes.' "
Luke 19:41-42

JUST A COINCIDENCE?

Jesus Christ was presented as the Promised Anointed One from God.

This day was Predicted by Gabriel in Daniel 9. He said, "there is 490 years determined for the Nation of Israel."

Gabriel goes on to tell Daniel, "from the going forth of the command to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince is Presented as King will be 483 years."

The Calendar used at the time was the Babylonian 360 day (not 365 day) calendar. Sir Robert Anderson in the book, "The Coming Prince" explains the calculations.

From his book he shows archeology evidence that the command went forth to rebuild and restore Jerusalem on March 14th 445 B.C. Nehemiah 2

Anderson had to convert the 360 day Babylonian Calendar to the 365 day Julian Calendar and amazingly the exact day was the day that Jesus Christ was Presented to the World as King on
April 6 / 10 Nisan 32 A.D.

Zechariah also predicted this day 100's of years before it happened when he said, "Behold your King comes riding on a donkey." Zech 9:6

This is known as Palm Sunday!

If we keep reading in Daniel He also says command to rebuild Jerusalem will be during troublesome times.

Nehemiah 1-2 tells how troublesome the times were as Nehemiah's family and friends were in Jerusalem starving to death.

Gabriel also tells Daniel the Anointed King will be Cut off or Executed immediately after He was presented as King.

JUST A COINCIDENCE?

Jesus Christ was Cut off four days later on April 10th/14 Nisan 32 A.D.

In the Passover , the lambs were selected on Nisan 10. Palm Sunday was Nisan 10. Exodus 12;2,3,6.

Jesus was presented as King and Lamb.

The lambs and Jesus Christ were killed on the same afternoon, Nisan 14 32 A.D.

This was the 14th of Nisan or Passover. (Fulfilling the prophesy of Jesus being our Passover Lamb with no spot or blemish and no broken bones).

He willing gave up His Spirit before the Roman guards came to break His legs.
