"For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many."
Matthew 24:5

Looking back I realize the Slavedriver was the other voice in my head trying to convince me that guilt was good because it caused Pain!

The Religious Leaders said the pain and anxiety was a good measuring stick for my sorrow. The more sorrow the more spiritual!

My Redeemer told me that this manmade Religious Stuff invented by the Slavedriver is a trap to ensnare me.

My Redeemer told me that the Slavedriver has the same Strategy today as he had in the Garden many years ago.

"Remember, I wrote about this in the Ancient Scrolls found in the caves of Qumran by the Dead Sea?"

He reminded me that the Slavedriver is like a roaring lion. He told me to be alert and somber minded and that my enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone like me to devour!

My Redeemer told me that the Slavedriver was trying to get me to listen to Religious leaders who would tell me how rotten I am so they could get my attention!

They said I must be in some bad sin for all these anxious thoughts and failures to be coming my way.

My Redeemer told me the Religious Leaders during Job's day treated Job the same way!

My Redeemer said the Religious have been ridiculing people and making up ridicules rules for a Long time!

After Slavedriver lays heavy burdens on you his next move is to convince you that you can work your way to God's grace.

My Redeemer said not to believe that lie. He said Slavedriver has done a good job of faking and deceiving Mormons and Jehovah's Witness's.

My Redeemer said, "If that were possible I would have let Adam and Eve do that in the Garden! I couldn't let that happen!"

He went on to say, "that is why I had to send Adam and Eve away from the Garden! Years later though I came to another Garden in Gethsemane and sweat great drops of blood profusely as I took all of the anxiety, guilt and shame from everyone on me!"

Now I know I can't work for Grace I can only receive Grace! Grace is a gift so I cant't boast about it! I can only boast about my Redeemer's Grace.

My Redeemer told me the key to Freedom from the prison of anxiety is to Love Him with everything I have and Love my neighbor as myself!

It is this gift of Grace that unlocks my prison door to Freedom!

This Attitude of Loving my Redeemer with everything I have is another step in my Journey to Freedom!
