The Beginning
"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters." Genesis 1:1-2
GREAT LEADERS KNOW THE WORD!
God (Elohim) Created (Bara) something out of nothing.
The term Elohim is Plural. In other words a Compound Unity. (1x1x1) Here we see the Trinity creating the Universe. We see the Father the Son and the Spirit.

Joshua said, " God is One." Deuteronomy 6:4. Why would he say this? Because the people were confused about the nature of God. So Joshua was clarifying the oneness of God.
John 1 says the Word (Jesus) created everything. Jesus was not a created person. Jesus was the Creator of the Universe in Genesis 1.
When someone knocks on our door and tries to deceive us with their cult we need to understand and be able to articulate the nature of God.
It is important to know the Word.
