What does it mean to be QUIET?

What does the World say?

- Lash out!
- Accuse!
- Ridicule!
- Gossip

What does Jesus say?

"Some people will vent their anger,
but the wise quietly hold it back."

Friends, The Lord always wants us to take the high road.

When I get caught up in the daily "Rat Race" I get anxious and want things done RIGHT NOW!

What happens when someone wrongs us?

Some people want Revenge. Some people escape to Drugs. Some people escape to sleeping !

All of these situations have the same underlying cause, and the end result is SEPARATION from the people we love.

What is the Underlying Cause to all of these escapes?

When Adam heard Christ walking in the Garden the Bible tells us that Adam was Afraid and hid from God. Fear turned to Anxiety and Anxiety turn into blaming God and others for his mistake.

"it is this woman you gave me that caused all of this!"

Friends, the Bible tells us over and over that we were born imperfect.

"All have sinned (DNA. Genetic Character Defects) and have come up short to the Glory of God!"

A couple chapters later Paul tells us that there was sin or DNA Genetic Defects in him known as the flesh that was causing him to feel Wretched with no Hope!

He said, it is not me that does these things but sin or DNA Genetic Defects within me that does it! Wow! Paul said that?

I can actually separate me from the sin within me? Yes.

Paul even tells us that our battle isn't in the Flesh but is in the Spiritual realm. The Flesh is the Mechanism Of Action that Satan uses as a Slave Driver to pull us away from the Lord.

The Word of God says, "there is therefore no condemnation to those in Christ!" Romans 8:1

So the real you is the Spirit within you. Your Spirit communicates with God's Spirit to overcome all of the desires of your DNA Genetic Character Defects!

John Hopkins Department of Medicine has numerous studies that show Anxiety comes from a lack of serotonin and dopamine imbalances in our brain.

The more balanced our brain is the more relaxed we are when situations arise.

This is just one of the DNA Genetic Character Defects that some of us were born with. This Chemical imbalance is no different than having poor vision.

Does God hold us accountable for having poor vision? No way! In fact Jesus was asked why a certain person was born blind? They asked Jesus who's fault it was that God would punish this young person with blindness. Jesus said it was no ones fault!

Jesus said this person was blind so everyone would see Him turn a problem into an opportunity and heal the young person!

It is what it is:
- Accept it
- Take responsibility
- Just Go Now!

Jesus died and rose again to show us that we can overcome all of our Character Defects.

"The life in the flesh is in the blood!" Lev 17:11

So Jesus came in the Flesh to give us a New Life in the Spirit!

This is why Paul could make such a bold statement! This makes it possible to separate the real me which is my new birth in the Spirit with no DNA Genetic Character Defects from the Flesh which has all the above!

"So "Chill Out and be Quiet and know that I am God!"
Psalm 46:10
