Do you worry about what people think?

Do you try to Fit In?

ARE YOU A PEOPLE PLEASER?

"Fearing people is a dangerous trap, but trusting the LORD means safety."
(Proverbs 29:25, NLT)

Friends, the word of the God also tells us the Fear of Man is a Snare.

What is a Snare? A Snare is a trap that trips you up and ropes you in.

When we fear what people think we make huge mistakes.

ARE YOU A PEOPLE PLEASER?

It could be Peer Pressure.

It could be a boy friend or girl friend.

It could be the Fear of:
"What if this and what if that?"

When we Compromise our Beliefs and cave into Fear we are being Controlled and Manipulated.

ARE YOU A PEOPLE PLEASER?

When we Stand Firm on the Promises of God we get Strength.

"but those who Wait on the LORD will Renew their Strength. They will Soar on Wings like Eagles; they will Run and not grow weary, they will Walk and not be faint." Isaiah 40:12

Waiting means Occupying or Moving Forward while Waiting. Waiting means to Continue working toward your Goals.

Our Physical body is moving forward while our Spiritual Life is Waiting and Occupying and Resting in the Lord.

ARE YOU A PEOPLE PLEASER?

Nehemiah is a great example of how this works. In Nehemiah we see Nehemiah approaching the King with a plan to rebuild Jerusalem. As Nehemiah is Moving Forward accomplishing his goals one at a time as he Prays:


The king said to me, "What is it you want?" Then I prayed to the God of heaven, Nehemiah 2:4

This is Walking with God. As Nehemiah is moving toward accomplishing his Goals he is talking with God.

When we live our lives in constant communication with God nothing can stop us.

ARE YOU A PEOPLE PLEASER?

Fear goes out the window!
"Perfect Love casts out all Fear!"
1 John 4:18

So next time you Fear this or that will happen if....

Remember God loves you so much he took your Fear on His back as He was nailed to a Tree for our Sins.

THAT IS PERFECT LOVE!

DON'T FEAR PEOPLE and what they think because it will Trip us up.

ARE YOU A PEOPLE PLEASER?

We when we Trust in God we Fly like Eagles!
