Have you ever Showed up to Work or Practice and Suddenly you realize you lost your spot on the team?

"YO MICK SOMEONE STOLE MY LOCKER!

Everything was normal but Suddenly you have nothing?

In the movie Rocky, Rocky can't open his locker. It was his locker for years and now Suddenly it is someone else's.

"YO MICK SOMEONE STOLE MY LOCKER!

Mickey the trainer told Rocky his locker was given to another boxer who was a contender.

Rocky said, "you gave my locker to someone else?"

"YO MICK SOMEONE STOLE MY LOCKER!

That locker was home base for Rocky.

That locker represented Stability for Rocky.

Now Rocky's locker is gone and belongs to someone else.

Rocky asked why?

Mickey yelled, "you want to know why?"

Rocky yelled back, "I want to know why!"

Then Mickey said, "you know what you are?"

"You're a bumb! A two bit leg breaker!"

Rocky said, "it's a living."

Rocky was worked for a loanshark mafia guy named Gazo collecting unpaid debts.

Mickey was fed up with Rocky's complacency and willingness to just get by and chose a career with the Mafia. At one time Rocky had Promise but now his trainer Mickey was done with him.

"YO MICK SOMEONE STOLE MY LOCKER!

Somewhere in those years Rocky lost his Drive. Rocky was just going through the motions with no clear Purpose.

How does this happen? How do we lose our Edge? How do we lose our Drive and Purpose?

What is your locker?

Has something Suddenly been taken away from you? Have you lost your Drive and Purpose?

What do you do when your life suddenly changes and you are Forced out of your Comfort Zone?

"YO MICK SOMEONE STOLE MY LOCKER!

Friends, change is tough. When life Suddenly changes all of us react in different ways.

Some people turn problems into Opportunities while others complain.

What do you do?

Rocky was Fortunate. He got One More Chance. He was picked out of thousands to face the Champ Apollo Creed.

In the same ways we are also given one more chance to face the Champ in whatever situation we are in.

What is it for you? It could cancer, drug and alcohol addictions, a loss of a job ect..

Are you a Victim? Life has a way of being the Great Equalizer when needed. God will not allow us to be Unmotivated and Complacent. God Allows Sudden Change to happen because He knows you are a Champion and He has Greater things for you.

Rocky took the chance and made the best of it. He seized the moment and opportunity to face his enemy.

Rocky's goal was to Go The Distance with the Champ. No one has ever done that before against Apollo Creed.

"YO MICK SOMEONE STOLE MY LOCKER!

Now it is your turn to face the Champ and Go The Distance. You have been given one more Chance!

How do you Respond?

Are you mad enough to prove the doubters wrong? Use this Emotion anger to your advantage!

Jesus said, "be Angry but don't sin!"

Rocky had to forgive his Trainer Mickey. Mickey was the only one that could train him to Go The Distance.

Rocky could be Angry about the Situation but Love the fact that Mickey was Strong enough to tell him the Truth!

"YO MICK SOMEONE STOLE MY LOCKER!

Who is your Mickey? Who is Bold enough to tell you the Truth? Remember God is also working behind the scenes to get you an Opportunity like Rocky. Jer 29:11

What is your battle?

Face Reality! Has someone stolen your locker or was it given away to a Contender?
