DANIEL180: IF GOD WERE TO ASK ME.....?

As I was reading from the Ancient Scrolls discovered in 1948 in 11 caves in Qumran.

My Redeemer Whispered to Adam In the Garden of Eden, after Adam had fallen short,

"Adam where are you?"

Then my Redeemer Whispered to me in my Garden, "where are you?"

I thought, "What is He really asking me? He knows where I am."

As I stood there thinking what to say I said, "only you know my Lord!"

Then I realized both Adam and I have the same problems; both of us feel all alone, afraid and want to escape.

Then Adam said, "I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid."

Them my Redeemer said, "Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?" Gen 3:10-11

Then Adam immediately blamed someone else for his failure.

I thought, "Wow! I do and say the same thing as Adam!"

"I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid."

Instead of accepting the situation and taking responsibility I immediately look for excuses for why I failed.

Then I look for a 'Fig Leaf' to cover up my mistake!"

Then I realized, "I must Accept and take Responsibility for my failures just as I would for my successes!"

Then my Redeemer put His Right hand on my right shoulder and whispered, "open the Greek Scrolls to 1 John 1:9 and read out loud what it says." So I began to read,

"ἐὰν ὁμολογῶμεν τὰς ἁμαρτίας ἡμῶν, πιστός ἐστιν καὶ δίκαιος ἵνα ἀφῇ ἡμῖν τὰς ἁμαρτίας καὶ καθαρίσῃ ἡμᾶς ἀπὸ πάσης ἀδικίας."

"If we Confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness."

Then He said, "so where are you now and where are you going? JUST GO!"
