Have you ever been hurt by someone?
Have you ever been a victim of an uncontrollable situation?

Maybe you were at the wrong place at the wrong time by no fault of your own?

Was it hard to forgive that person or the situation?

Maybe you are still struggling with Forgiveness. How do we Forgive and Move On?

FORGIVENESS RULES! LET IT GO!

Job was Righteous and Blameless before God. He was still human and made mistakes like all of us but he was forgiven of his sins because of the future work of Jesus Christ at Calvary.

FORGIVENESS RULES! LET IT GO!

Job prayed for his family every morning before work and was a great example in his community.

One day it all came crashing down for Job! Job lost his Family and Career to an uncontrollable disaster. Job had to find a way to move on!

Something was controlling Job without him knowing it. Something was holding Job back from Making a Comeback!

That something was Unforgiveness!

Unforgiveness that brings on Bitterness and Resentment little by little until one day he would be a Slave to it.

Unforgiveness that would control his life!

If Job doesn't Figure Out How To Forgive and Let It Go, his life will be Destroyed!

However, if Job does Figure Out How To Forgive and Let It Go, he will Succeed Beyond his Wildest Dreams!

FORGIVENESS RULES! LET IT GO!

Friends, sometimes unfortunate things happen to us that we can't control. Years go by and we still can't figure out why we can't move on.

FORGIVENESS RULES! LET IT GO!

Here is what Job Wrote:

"Yet if you devote your heart to him
and stretch out your hands to him,
if you put away the sin that is in your hand and allow no evil to dwell in your tent, then, free of fault, you will lift up your face; you will stand firm and without fear. You will surely forget your trouble,
recalling it only as waters gone by.
(Job 11:13-16)

Job realized he couldn't Move On because he couldn't Forgive. Here is what the Lord told Job:

- Devote your Heart to The Lord!

- Reach out to God not the Situation!

- Put away Sins like Revenge!

- Refuse to Dwell on and Entertain Evil!

WHEN YOU DO THIS YOU WILL WIN!

- You will be abel to Face the World!

- You will keep a Firm Grip on Life!

- You will be Guiltless and Fearless!

- You will Forget Your Troubles!

- Troubles will be of the Past!

- You Will Attack Life Head On!

This was God's advice to Job to move on!

It is hard to forgive when you have been wronged and your whole life comes crashing down.

When we hold on to Regret and the Pain of being mistreated we are the ones that keep getting hurt day in and day out.

We are the ones that become Bitter and Angry and so Depressed we can't function.

We are the ones that become Slaves to Bitterness.

A lot of times we are so Blinded by the Hurts, Anger and Disappointments we miss the Obvious: WE NEED TO FORGIVE!

When we let go of Vengence and give it to the Lord we can Move On!

Do you remember the story of Corrie Ten Boom?

She hid Jews in her apartment to protect them from the Nazis during World War II.

When they were caught, not only were the Jews shipped off to the concentration camps, but Corrie and her family were, too.

Everyone in her family was killed in the concentration camps except Corrie, and she endured torture and abuse.

FORGIVENESS RULES! LET IT GO!

She later went back and met the guards who had abused her, and she forgave them. You can't do that with human forgiveness.

You need God's supernatural power in your life in order to let it go and be able to say, "It wasn't good. It wasn't fun. It was bad. But I believe that God can bring good out of the bad, and somehow the rest of my life is going to be the best of my life." Corrie Ten Boom

FORGIVENESS RULES! LET IT GO!

Paul said there is One Thing he does. He Forgets the Past and Presses on to Accomplish his Goals for Christ.

Now it is up to us. We can continue Hiding and Escaping hurts and pains with different vices. We can wake up every day defeated with Excuses of Anger and Frustration of how we were wronged.

Or, this can be the first day of the rest of your life forgiving and moving on to a Peaceful life full of Grace and Forgiveness.

It was tough but in the end Job chose to Forgive and Move On!

At the End of the Story we learn that Job doubled his wealth and raised a new family that would be with him forever.

God will turn it all around for us as well.
