Fw: Leaders Ask For Wisdom

Team:

Today in The One Year Playbook we see Solomon being established firmly over his kingdom. God was with him.
July 20 2 CHRONICLES 1:1-3:17

Solomon was still somewhat insecure on how to run the kingdom.

In his mind he was thinking, "this is where I am now but I have so far to go."

In the middle of where I am and where I need to be there is a Gap or a Valley and it is called, Insecurity.

In the Valley of Insecurity there are many choices. The Valley of Insecurity is filled with a lot of enemies, temptations, emotions, disappointments ect.. It is very important to know the Playbook when going through this Valley.

God asked Solomon what he wanted. Solomon said, " Wisdom."

God was very happy and gave Solomon Incredible Wisdom. Soloman became the wisest and most powerful king ever.

What is Wisdom? Wisdom is when we apply knowledge.

How do we get wisdom? Solomon said we get wisdom be fearing and respecting God. Proverbs 9:10

The fear of the Lord brings knowledge and understanding. Psalm 111:10

A great way to fear and respect God is to apply His Playbook to our lives every day.

"If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him." James 1:5

God gave Solomon his Wisdom and now he can go from where he is to where he needs to be by applying the Playbook every day.

Leaders ask for Wisdom.

Just Go!
