Leaders know God is in Control

Team:

Do you ever feel like you are all alone?

In 2 Kings 6 God shows us we are not alone. No matter what circumstance we are facing "God is in this Place."

The Enemy was invading and the Servant of Elisha was frightened.

Sometimes the situations and circumstances seem overwhelming and we feel all alone.

Remember Jacob said, "God is in this place and I didn't know it."

Here is another reminder that God is with us. Here Elisha prays that the eyes of his servant would be open to the invisible spiritual realm.

"And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, a host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master, how shall we do? And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha."
2 Kings 6:15-17

A few years later King Hezekiah was fearing that he would lose his Kingdom to Sennacherib's Assyrian Empire.

God assured Hezekiah that He would take take control of the situation.

Sometimes in life we have to pray that God just takes over. When we do this we realize how Powerful He is. The Word says "He is able to do exceedingly abundantly beyond any thing we can ask, think or imagine." Eph 3:20

One Angel wiped out Sennacherib's (701 B.C.) entire Assyrian army of over 185,000. (By the way this is verified by secular history books and archaeology)
2 Kings 18:1-19; Isaiah 36-39

If One Angel can wipe out 185,000 in one night then what can God do for us? When Hezekiah woke up the Victory was already Won!

The same is true for us. When we wake up the Victory will already be Won!

Remember the Bible says, "Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the World."

God is totally in Control of everything. We are not alone "God is in this Place."

A Great Leader will focus on God and not the situation.

Just Go! Win the Day!
