Fw: GREAT LEADERS FORGIVE!

Team

Have you ever been accused of something you didn't do?

Have you ever been overlooked?

Maybe the coach put another player in to take your spot.

What do you do when this happens?

GREAT LEADERS FORGIVE!

18 Then Jeremiah said to King Zedekiah, "What crime have I committed against you or your attendants or this people, that you have put me in prison? 19 Where are your prophets who prophesied to you, 'The king of Babylon will not attack you or this land'? 20 But now, my lord the king, please listen. Let me bring my petition before you: Do not send me back to the house of Jonathan the secretary, or I will die there." Jer 37:18

Jeremiah realized he was being treated unfairly.

GREAT LEADERS FORGIVE!

Did Jeremiah just sit back or did he stick up for himself?

He stuck up for himself.

When we are treated unfairly or accused of something we didn't do it is tempting to get mad and frustrated and stop progressing toward our goal.

If we forgive and move on we take control over the situation we keep moving toward our goal.

GREAT LEADERS FORGIVE!

When Jesus was hanging on the cross for our sins He said, " "Father forgive them."

The number one thing we can do when we are accused is forgive.

GREAT LEADERS FORGIVE!

"The number one thing we could improve on always seems impossible until its done." - Nelson Mandela

"The only place where your dream becomes impossible is in your own thinking."- Robert H. Schuller

Forgive and move forward. Don't let situations control you. You control your own destiny. You make your own future.

When we forgive and move on we don't let people or circumstances pull us down.
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

Rick
